Assistants Architectural will typically work as part of a team, under the control of a Project Architect and will be expected to assist the team in the design and production of schemes within the office.

THE JOBSCOPE
- To follow through on all relevant authority submissions and subsequent approvals. To liaise with authorities on any technicalities and comments.
- To assist in the daily function of an Architect in design; design development and administration of the Architectural projects.
- Assist the Architect in production of drawing for onward submission to Authority, and procurement of Contractor.
- Submit and obtain required Authority Approval under supervision of the Architect.
- Assist the Architect in administration of construction projects leading to its completion.
- Communicating with clients and contractors to ensure that all parties are on the same page throughout the project
- Gathering reference materials such as photographs, sketches, or plans of other buildings that may be useful in designing new structures
- Making calculations for building materials based on design requirements and available budgets
- Organizing files and documents related to the project including blueprints, contracts, design drawings, and specifications
- Preparing detailed sketches of proposed designs to present to clients
