Park Ranger

**Position Summary**:
As Park Ranger your task is to support the Security Operations to ensure a safe, secure environment in LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort in accordance to the Safety and Standard Procedure. You shall be responsible for the protection of the assets of the company as well as the health and safety of all MCs while they work in the vicinity.

**Scope and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for securing park properties, staff and clientele in accordance with the procedures laid down in the Security Manual.
- Observes guests and others and patrols the surrounding, corridors back of the building areas, public rooms and surroundings to detect infringements or suspicious behavior: interviews guests and staff: approaches and questions suspicious persons courteously.
- Assists Security Team Lead/Supervisor in investigating incidents involving disturbances, accidents, loss, thefts, etc. Occurring in the park during his shift.
- Warns trouble-makers: cautions careless person.
- Obtains assistance for accident victims and writes necessary accident reports.
- Records details of significant incidents or activities occurring during his shift in his official pocket Diary.
- Notifies superiors of presence of persons of questionable repute, and keeps such people under close surveillance.
- Performs duties common to all rank and file non-supervisory personnel and other duties as may be assigned.
- Maintain courteous relations with guests and staff.
- Instills trust on the part of staff; not fear or suspicion.
- Performs First Aid as needed.
- Is a member of the Hotel’s Fire Fighting Team.
- Makes recommendations that could improve productivity or increase the standards of guest service.
- Attends in service training course and such other courses as may be directed from time to time.
- Support and exercise the MERLIN values.

**Background and Experience**:

- Requires at least one (1) year of security and/or law enforcement experience.
- Requires excellent communication skills, excellent reasoning ability and interpersonal skills.
- Prior family theme park experience is helpful.
- Guard card a plus, must be able to successfully complete CPR and First Aid certification.
- Position requires pre-placement physical.

- Malaysian.
- Fully vaccinated (includes Booster).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends to support park/hotel operations.
