**Role Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Banking Consultant to join our team and drive strategic initiatives within the banking sector. This role is vital in providing expert guidance on banking operations, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation, ensuring our clients navigate the complexities of the financial landscape effectively.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead consulting engagements with clients, assessing their banking operations and identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Develop comprehensive strategies that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Guide clients through digital transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to optimize their banking services.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for client teams, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs and drive business growth.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to provide informed recommendations to clients.

**Required and Preferred Qualifications**

**Required**:

- 10+ years of experience in banking or financial services consulting, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, and risk management practices.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex consulting engagements.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

**Preferred**:

- Experience with digital banking transformation and fintech integration.
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CIMA).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.

**Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies**
- Strong understanding of banking systems and platforms, including core banking solutions and payment processing systems.
- Experience with data analysis tools, CRM software, and project management software.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies like blockchain, AI, and machine learning in the context of banking.

**Soft Skills and Cultural Fit**
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership qualities, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM15,000.00 per month
