Dental Technologist

**Job Summary**:
The Dental Technologist is responsible for designing, constructing, and repairing dental appliances and prostheses as prescribed by dentists. The role includes working with various materials and advanced equipment to fabricate high-quality dental restorations that meet clinical and aesthetic standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate crowns, bridges, dentures, orthodontic appliances, and other dental prosthetics using models and impressions provided by dental professionals.
- Design and mold dental appliances using materials such as wax, acrylic, metal, porcelain, and ceramics.
- Use computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) systems where applicable.
- Adjust and repair dental appliances to ensure proper fit and function.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and tools regularly.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with dentists, dental specialists, and faculty to ensure accurate appliance construction.
- Maintain accurate records of cases, materials used, and timelines.
- Assist in the training or supervision of junior staff or students (if applicable).
- Stay updated with current industry trends, materials, and technologies.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Technology or equivalent.
- Registered with the Malaysian Dental Technologist Association (or local regulatory body, if applicable).
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in a dental lab or clinical setting (fresh graduates may be considered).
- Skilled in the use of dental lab tools and equipment, including CAD/CAM systems.
- Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
