**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the overall finance functions of the Labuan Branch (including finance operations)
- Review and submit regulatory financial and statistical reports to Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA)
- Review and submit J-GAAP and US-GAAP returns to Head Office
- Review and submit management reporting to Head Office
- Resposible for all external and internal audit & tax related matters
- Ensure reconciliation of all key accounts (including Nostro and Vostro) on timely basis
- Ensure tax return is submitted to IRB and tax payments are paid promptly
- Review, assess and improve internal control over financial reporting and operations
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key internal and external stakeholders
- Liaise with regional and Kuala Lumpur office when necessary

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA).
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting within the banking or financial sector.
- Prior experience in LFSA reporting is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Solid experience in preparing regulatory reports.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with business stakeholders.
- Team-oriented, with the ability to build relationships and take lead on accounting functions within the branch
