Translator/interpreter

**ey Responsibilities**:

- Translate written and verbal communications between **Mandarin and English** (both directions).
- Interpret during meetings, calls, and factory visits involving cross-cultural teams.
- Review and localize **technical documents** (e.g., blueprints, SOPs, quality reports, safety guidelines).
- Ensure translations maintain original meaning, tone, and industry-specific jargon.
- Assist with **supplier communications**, purchase orders, and logistics documentation.
- Support HR in translating policies or training materials for multilingual staff.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and QA teams to clarify terminology.
- Proofread and edit translated materials for accuracy and consistency.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Fluent** in **Mandarin and English** (written and spoken).
- **2+ years** of translation experience, preferably in **manufacturing, engineering, or technical fields**.
- Knowledge of **industry terms** (e.g., CNC, ISO standards, lean manufacturing, supply chain).
- Proficiency in translation tools (e.g., CAT tools, Trados) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Cultural sensitivity and experience working with global teams.
