_ **Title: Datacenter Network L0**_
- 1-2 years of experience as a low voltage or data center technician.
- Must be able to take direction from Engineer for tasks.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to understand and execute runbook procedures in accordance with steps provided.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Willingness to document real time steps in ticketing system and provide updates as requested by teams.
- Must be comfortable with heights, working from 12’ and smaller ladders, scissor and articulating boom lifts as required.
- Must provide and be comfortable working while wearing PPE (Hard Hat, Safety Vest, Steel Toe Shoes, Eye protection ETC)
- Must provide own tools to include laptop, cell phone camera, hotspot, fiber cleaning supplies.
- Exceptional ability to work as part of a team, provide IT support, and resolve errors.
- Willingness to respond to network and server errors after hours.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Proficient in Microsoft office products
- Ability to install different types of hardware.  (IE. Servers, Routers, Switches, Security Cameras, WAP’s with cabling) Proficient running, terminating, and installing IT cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Coaxial, and Fiber Optics)
- Perform pre-termination procedures: organize, form, dress cables and determine length, slack and label cables. Suspend and support cable correctly: Cable tray, J-hook, D-rings, Bridal rings, Trapeze.
- will perform fire-stopping procedures on fire walls, install sleeves, and pull cable through sleeves and core penetration.
- Copper testing, troubleshooting, and termination experience
- Install grounding for server racks, equipment, and cable, as required.
- Monitoring and performing on-going maintenance on servers and network equipment.
- Basic understanding of fiber cable and testing equipment.
- Providing IT support to staff and customers, as well as responding to the server and network device issues.
- Protecting company data by preventing the overheating of data center components.
- Running hardware diagnostics and replacing failing parts in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with software and network engineering teams on cybersecurity and network efficiency.
- Monitoring all network processes to ensure the smooth flow of data across the network.
- Upgrading internal system components, including CPUs, memory, hard drives, and network cables.
- Understanding regarding the procurement of new data center equipment.
- Basic knowledge of data center environments, servers, and network equipment.
- Ability to keep up with advancements in data center industry infrastructure and technologies.
- Proficiency in documenting network processes.

**Title: Datacenter Network L1**
- Network Troubleshooting and Optimization: Diagnose and resolve issues across Ethernet, fiber, and wireless networks. Optimize network performance through regular maintenance and configuration adjustments.
- Installation and System Upgrades: Deploy and configure a variety of network equipment, including but not limited to routers, switches, WAPs (Wireless Access Points), and ensure their compatibility within Ethernet, fiber, and wireless frameworks.
- Comprehensive Cabling Solutions: Execute expert installation, management, and troubleshooting of cabling infrastructures, including copper for Ethernet networks and fiber optics for high-speed connections, ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.
- Wireless Network Expertise: Implement and manage wireless networking solutions, including the setup of WAPs, ensuring secure and efficient wireless connectivity across data centers.
- Documentation and Process Improvement: Support documentation of network setups, configurations, and optimizations. Continually assess and recommend improvements to network install area, cabling, and other infrastructure setup.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with NOC and network engineering teams to troubleshoot, deploy and enhance operational efficiency.
- _**Requirements**_:

- 2-3 years of experience in a data center technician role or similar, with a portfolio showcasing previous projects.
- CCNA or equivalent network certification.
- Own set of tools including a laptop, hotspot, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Basic computer skills with the ability to provide IT support and troubleshoot network issues.
- Familiarity with data center environments and in-depth knowledge of servers and network equipment.
- Proven ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and communicate effectively with staff and clients.
- Flexible availability, including willingness to respond to issues after hours as needed.
- Must possess exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to document network processes and maintain detailed event logs.

Pay: RM2,283.72 - RM8,403.99 per month
