Network Security Consultant

Project planning & engineering, configure, implement, and maintain all security platforms and any other related software, such as anti-virus, routers, Anti-SPAM, switches, intrusion detection or intrusion prevention and firewalls.
- Identifying, monitoring, and defining the requirements of the overall security of the system via best practices are executed through auditing: router, change control, switch, firewall configurations, and monitoring.
- Creating different ways to solve the existing threats and security issues.
- Testing and checking the system for weaknesses in software and hardware.
- Creating virus and threat detection systems.
- Configuring and installing security infrastructure devices.
- Determining latest technologies and processes that improve the overall security of the system.
- Using industry-standard analysis criteria to test the security level of the firm.
- Developing tracking documents to note system vulnerabilities.
- Reporting the security analysis and monitoring findings.
- Supervising the configuration and installation of new software and hardware.
- Implementing regulatory systems in accordance with IT security.
- Informing the company about the security incidents as soon as possible.
- Modifying the technical, legal, and regulatory aspects of the system security.
- Defining and maintaining security policies.
- Occasionally replacing the security system protocol and architecture.

**Experience**
- Minimum 7 years hands-on experience and knowledge implementing, configuring, integrating and supporting the network security with Checkpoint, F5 Load balancers, BigIP LTM, GTM, IPAM, Cisco ISE, Palo Alto, Juniper, BlueCoat security solutions, or Fortinet.
- Cisco orientated IOS understanding, working with Routers and Switch Platforms and Experience working with stakeholders at an Operational Level
- Good team player, Self-confident, motivated, and independent
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information systems or Computer engineering/science
- Ability to remain calm while multi-tasking and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to details and good problem-solving skills.

**Job Type**: Contract

**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
