Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Food Science/ Food Technology or equivalent.
Main criteria:
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in food manufacturing industry (most required)
- Experience in HACCP, GMP, MESTI, HALAL, ISO & FSSC22000
- Halal Executive certification.
- Experienced and well-versed in internal & external audit documentations.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with a great attitude.
- Able to set up the workflow, lead the team and have passion towards the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
**1. Lead Quality System Implementation and Maintenance**
- Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of quality systems, including **HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, HALAL, FSSC 22000, and MESTI**.
- Ensure all procedures align with company objectives and regulatory standards.
**2. Supervise Daily Quality Control Operations**
- Manage inspection activities across raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure compliance with food safety and product quality standards.
**3. Investigate and Resolve Quality Issues**
- Lead investigations into non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints.
- Conduct **root cause analysis** and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
**4. Documentation and Quality Reporting**
- Ensure all QAQC documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed.
- Prepare regular quality performance reports and trend analyses for management review.
**5. Audit and Compliance Oversight**
- Coordinate **internal audits**, supplier audits, and support external audits from authorities or certification bodies (e.g. MOH, JAKIM, auditors).
- Ensure timely closure of audit findings and continuous improvement.
**6. Training and Team Development**
- Conduct training sessions for production and QAQC personnel on SOPs, food safety, and hygiene.
- Supervise and mentor QAQC Officers or Assistants to ensure high performance and compliance.
**7. Liaise with External and Internal Stakeholders**
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and R&D teams to ensure raw materials and new products meet quality standards.
- Communicate with suppliers and regulatory bodies regarding quality matters as needed.
**8. Monitor and Improve Key Quality Metrics**
- Track and evaluate KPIs related to quality performance, customer complaints, and product returns.
- Propose improvements to enhance product consistency, reduce waste, and prevent recurring issues.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,400.00 per month
