**Position: Kitchen Leader**

**Overview**:
The Kitchen Leader at Nippon Sushi is responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, preparation, and hygiene. This role involves managing kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with Halal food preparation guidelines. The Kitchen Leader plays a critical role in upholding Nippon Sushi's reputation for delicious and authentic Japanese cuisine.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Leadership and Management**:

- Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
- Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

**Food Preparation and Quality Control**:

- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to Nippon Sushi's recipes and standards.
- Monitor food preparation processes to ensure high-quality and timely output.
- Implement quality control measures to minimize food waste and maximize efficiency.

**Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure adherence to all Halal food preparation standards and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections and audits.

**Inventory and Cost Management**:

- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and conduct regular stock takes.
- Control kitchen expenses and minimize costs without compromising quality.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Kitchen Leader, or similar role in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and Halal food preparation standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in kitchen equipment and food safety practices.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
