**Job Description**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure compliance to applicable EHS standards, statutory, regulatory and other relevant requirements.
- Implement, maintain and improve EHS procedures and system.
- Inspects, monitors, investigates and/or recommends corrective action; conducts trends analysis; documents compliance with legal requirement and standards
- Plan and develop EHS awareness or specific EHS requirements training programs to employees.
- Coordinate employee training in emergency response, life safety, industrial hygiene, and fire hazards.
- Serve as advisor to management on EHS related topics. Coordinate and advise on project, management of change in term of EHS related concerns.
- Servicing site Management Review, EHS Committees and various ad-hoc meetings.
- Works closely with site leaders to measure and communicate EHS performance. Monitor trends and champions injury reduction.
- Continuously improve the EHS culture, awareness, and accountability system.
- Direct the organization in management of emergency conditions and containment actions.
- Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Management System Certification.
- To carry out any other instruction made by the employer on any matters pertaining to safety & health at workplace.

**Qualifications**:
**Academic Qualification**:

- At least 5-7 years working experience in manufacturing environment.

**Experience and Skills Required**:

- ** Registered Safety and Health officer with Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia with valid Green Book.**:

- Knowledge / Trained in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and BCMS 22301 standards will be an added advantage.
