Kindergarten Teacher at Bangi

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1.** **Lesson Planning and Delivery**:

- Plan and deliver lessons that align with the Malaysian National Curriculum (Kurikulum Standard Prasekolah Kebangsaan, KSPK) and other school guidelines.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies, such as play-based learning, interactive activities, and hands-on experiences, to engage students.
- Foster a love of learning by encouraging creativity, curiosity, and exploration.

**2. Child Development**:

- Monitor and assess the academic, social, and emotional development of each child.
- Tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of all children, including those with special needs.
- Promote language development, cognitive skills, socialization, and motor skills.

**3. Classroom Management**:

- Create and maintain a positive, respectful, and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to address behavior and encourage positive interaction.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.

**4. Student Assessment**:

- Observe and document the progress of students in various developmental areas.
- Use informal and formal assessments (e.g., observations, checklists, portfolios) to track student growth and development.
- Provide regular feedback to parents on their child’s progress and areas for improvement.

**5. Parental Involvement and Communication**:

- Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication, including parent-teacher meetings, newsletters, and informal conversations.
- Address any concerns or issues raised by parents and provide guidance on how they can support their child’s learning and development.

**6. Curriculum and Resource Management**:

- Organize and manage classroom materials and resources effectively.
- Ensure that the classroom is well-maintained, safe, and conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and share resources.

**7. Professional Development**:

- Attend professional development workshops, seminars, and training to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational trends and best practices.
- Participate in school meetings, events, and committees to support the overall mission of the school.

**8. Collaborative Teamwork**:

- Work cooperatively with other teachers, teaching assistants, and administrative staff.
- Participate in school events, outings, and extra-curricular activities as required.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:
**1. Education**:

- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, or a related field (a teaching qualification recognized by the Malaysian Ministry of Education).
- Certification in Early Childhood Education (e.g., SKM, NCECE, or any other relevant qualification) is an advantage.

**2. Experience**:

- Previous teaching experience in a kindergarten or early childhood education setting is preferred, but fresh graduates with a passion for teaching are also encouraged to apply.

**3. Skills**:

- Strong communication skills in both English (must fluent) and Bahasa Malaysia (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children.
- Creative, energetic, and able to create a stimulating and positive classroom environment.
- Good classroom management skills with the ability to guide children in a structured yet fun manner.
- Ability to assess and respond to the individual needs of children.

**4. Other Requirements**:

- Age 21-32
- Female Muslim only
- Must be able to work well with parents and fellow educators.
- A genuine love for teaching and nurturing young children.
- Willingness to participate in school events and activities.

**5. Additional Responsibilities**:

- Assist in organizing field trips, school functions, and other extra-curricular activities.
- Support children in their personal development, including learning good manners, hygiene, and appropriate behavior.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
