Bandar Penawar, Malaysia Pegasus Advance Engineering Sdn. Bhd. Full time

The Accounts Executive oversee accounts payable, invoicing and accounts receivable functions. Will be in charge of General Ledger and cashbook as well as custodian of petty cash. Assisting in costing and cost control, project costing review and ensure smooth operation of the Finance division. The Accounts Executive will maintain proper documentation and filing.

**1. Generals**:

- Co-ordinate and liaise with external auditors
- Prepare monthly journals, adjustments for accounts closing and reporting
- Ensure SST are properly accounted for and prepare SST submissions
- Check daily bank balances, direct receipts and deductions
- Check and review all intercompany transactions are properly accounted for
- Ensure timely preparation of reports
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned according to the Accounting functions

**2. Receivables**:

- Review and ensure accuracy and completeness on issuance of invoices and revenue reporting
- Ensure accurate coding and posting of revenue items and cost centre review
- Monitor Receivable Aging and Collection, chasers on overdue accounts
- Assist in monthly closing and reporting on revenue and receivables status
- Prepare monthly receivables report and reconciliation

**3. Payables**:

- Manage daily operations of accounts payables, such as registering new invoices and initiate payments
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register and Tagging of Fixed Asset
- Monthly Posting and Closing of Accounts
- Monthly Vendor Reconciliation
- Review accruals and prepayments tracking
- Assist in internal and statutory audits
- Assist in ensuring Accounting policies, procedures and internal controls are adhered to.

**Requirement**:

- Possess a minimum qualification of: LCCI Accounting, Diploma in Accountancy, CAT or pursuing ACCA
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience
- Full set of accounts knowledge will be preferred
- Computer literate and proficient in accounting software
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point)
- Meticulous “eye” for detail and accuracy
- Desire to grow, take on new responsibilities and establish yourself on our team

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
