Wee Rays is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and proactive **Shadow Aide** to provide one-to-one support to a bright 8-year-old boy attending **Saint Joseph’s International School**. This role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education and supporting neurodiverse learners in mainstream settings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Offer consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day to enhance learning, emotional regulation, and social interaction.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and therapists to implement individualized strategies aligned with the student’s IEP or support plan.
- Facilitate participation in classroom activities while adapting materials and instructions to suit the child’s needs.
- Encourage positive peer engagement and help build social skills in natural settings.
- Monitor the student’s emotional and behavioral cues and provide appropriate coping or redirection strategies.
- Track and report daily progress and observations to the Wee Rays team and parents.
- Ensure the student’s safety, comfort, and inclusion during all school routines and transitions.
- Provide assistance with any minor personal care or mobility support, if necessary.
- A diploma or degree in psychology, special education, early childhood education, or a related field.
- Prior experience supporting children with learning, emotional, or behavioral differences in school settings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Calm, empathetic, and patient disposition.
- Confidence in supporting emotional regulation and social skill-building.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

**Position Type**:

- Full-time, Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:45 am to 4 pm AND Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 7:45 am to 3 pm.

**Commute Requirement**:

- Must be able to reliably commute to or reside near Jalan PJU 3/13 (Petaling Jaya)

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
