Job Summary
As part of the Enterprise Technology Services team, your role as SAP Basis Manager will be crucial in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our SAP landscapes, as well as driving continuous improvements and innovation within the Basis team. Leveraging your technical expertise and leadership skills, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to deliver strategic projects and align them with business objectives, financial goals, and emerging technologies. Your ability to bridge technology and business will drive the success and optimization of our SAP landscape.General Responsibilities
- Leading SAP Basis team in the delivery of SAP services including SAP System Administration, Performance Optimization, implementing measures to improve SAP Landscape Management Process and leading the resolution of complex SAP system issues.
- System Landscape Design and Optimization: Collaborate with architects and infrastructure teams to design and optimize SAP system landscapes, ensuring scalability, high availability, effective release and change management, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Strategic Planning and Roadmap: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for SAP Basis, aligning with business objectives, financial goals, and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements.
- Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Basis team. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.
- SAP Cybersecurity: Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard SAP systems.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with SAP and other technology vendors, including contract negotiations, service level agreements, and vendor performance evaluations.Job Qualification
- Extensive experience in SAP Basis, including managing complex SAP landscapes, with strong technical knowledge of SAP system architecture and solutions.
- Solid understanding of SAP Applications, IT Infrastructure, ITSM, Cybersecurity, and data centre operations.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.Education
- Professional degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
