The Vending Machine Technician is responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of vending machines at customer sites. This role requires technical troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, and basic IT knowledge) and a willingness to travel across different regions. The technician will ensure high machine uptime, customer satisfaction, and accurate reporting of all service activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver, install, and configure vending machines at customer locations
- Set up payment systems, software, and basic connectivity
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or IT-related issues
- Ensure timely resolution of service calls to minimize downtime
- Provide on-site support and communicate effectively with customers
- Maintain professionalism when handling complaints or escalations
- Complete service job sheets, maintenance records, and incident reports
- Track parts usage, repairs, and replacement schedules.
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks which may be assigned from time to time

**Requirements**:

- Technical Skills: Basic IT literacy (software configuration, troubleshooting connectivity, handling payment systems)
- Valid car driving license (mandatory)
- Able to handle equipment and machine parts
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Willing to work outside normal office hours (weekends, public holidays) when required
- Travel long distances to customer sites nationwide
- Added Advantage:
a) 1 to 2 years’ experience in vending machine service, field service technician, or similar roles (Fresh grads are welcome)

b) Familiarity with basic IT components, controllers, touchscreen panels, sensors

c) Able to lift and work with moderately heavy vending machine parts
