**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and manage the waste water treatment plant, ensuring the efficient treatment of waste water, promoting sustainable practices and compliance with environmental regulations.
- Take responsibility for managing waste, ensuring proper disposal methods are followed, and maintaining accurate waste disposal records.
- Conduct daily performance monitoring and ensure all performance monitoring and maintenance records are documented accurately and submitted promptly via the Online Environmental Reporting (OER).
- Plan and implement improvements to the Wastewater Treatment (WWTP) system by analysing process flow, equipment performance, and treatment methods to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure high-quality final discharge.
- Develop, implement, and maintain documentation related to process improvement initiatives, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials.
- Oversee and manage environmental issues and ensure compliance with the Environmental Quality Act 1974, relevant regulations, and local environmental laws.

**Job Requirements**:

- Possess at least a Diploma in Engineering **(Environment / Health / Safety), Science or equivalent**.
- Familiar with **DOE Act, regulations** and requirements.
- Minimum of **2*-**3 years’ experience* in a related field, preferably within the **food manufacturing or wastewater treatment industry**.
- **Hands-on experience** in managing and operating **Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP)** is highly desirable.
- Good team player and able to work independently.
- **Must be a certified Competent Person under CePIETSO BP**, with valid certification recognized by the Department of Environment (DOE).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
