**What you’ll do:
**Installation Specialist Contractor, you will be responsible for leading onsite installation efforts demonstrating best practices in the installation of products into a wide range of vehicles and assets.

**How you’ll make an impact**:

- Perform installations in the field on a wide range of vehicles and assets and ensure company deliverables meet customer requirements.
- Ensure all installers are Geotab authorized installers and ensure the installation guides, instructions and other important information are communicated to the customer’s and third party installers.
- Train the customer technicians and new Field Services team members on new and existing product installation.
- Participate in the customer beta programs and ensure the company installation quality standards are met in the field.
- Work with customers, sales professionals and installers to ensure installation requirements are understood, delivered on time and in accordance to company standards.
- Qualify new 3rd party installers, provide installer training for new products and services, resolve installer issues and concerns.
- Perform periodic installer performance evaluation and audits.
- Document installation process, create photo sets and work with the documentation team on new installation guides and instructions.
- Suggest methods to improve systems and processes within the organization, as related to installations and onsite services.
- Coordinate special installation projects involving complex solution implementation and new product introduction.

**What you’ll bring to this role**:

- 3-5 years of experience in performing and managing GPS installation services into a wide range of vehicles and assets.
- Post-Secondary Training/Diploma/Degree in the automotive field or equivalent experience required.
- Specialized knowledge or expertise of electronic components in the automotive industry.
- 12/24 volt automotive and electrical experience necessary.
- Understanding of vehicle equipment maintenance.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve to well-judged decisions.
- Ability to learn and absorb new procedural information, and disseminate it end
users.
- Experience working within a technical or engineering organization/knowledge of the high-technology industry is an asset.
- A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
- Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
- Must be flexible with work schedules to accommodate different time zones.
