**Job Summary**:
The Procurement Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to support the company’s operations. This role ensures that all purchases are cost-effective, meet quality standards, and are delivered on time, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Purchasing & Sourcing**:
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve cost savings.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
- **Supplier Management**:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any delivery or quality issues.
- Maintain updated supplier databases and documentation.
- **Cost & Compliance**:
- Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and savings.
- **Collaboration & Support**:
- Work closely with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs.
- Support inventory management by ensuring stock availability and avoiding shortages.
- Assist in vendor audits and supplier evaluations.
**Qualifications & Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/procurement systems.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor management, and contract law.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
