**JOB DESCRIPTION: BACK-END DEVELOPER**

**JOB PURPOSE**:

- The position requires design and analysis of software projects.
- Require a high level of technical expertise, combined with excellent planning, coordination and communication skills, and the ability to work with teams.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Collaboration with Business Functional Analysts.
- Ensure technical documents such as program specifications, procedures, user manuals, test plan, migration plan and checklist are composed accordingly and up-to date.
- Take part in develop and enhance Applications and API.
- Responsible to handle backend integration via Restful, SOAP API.
- Troubleshooting, debugging and resolving production issues.
- Proactively sharing the responsibility in task delivery with the team.
- Assume responsibility of other relevant tasks as assigned from time to time.
- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic.
- Gather and address technical and design requirements.
- Provide training and support to internal teams.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

**KEY CHALLENGES**
- Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
- Ability to learn new/latest technology skills required to support assigned systems.
- Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.
- Communicate successfully, all concepts and guidelines to develop team.

**QUALIFICATION**

**EXPERIENCE**

At least 5 years hands on knowledge and experience in the following:
1) Java 8 or above with solid background in Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Object Oriented Design Principle, Design Pattern, CI/CD process, RESTful APIs development.

2) Hands on experience in backend development using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Event Driven i.e., Kafka or RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL or any RDBMS.

3) Business Process Rule Based Engine - JBPM, Drools, Flowable etc.

4) Experience with agile software development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA, Git).

**GOOD TO HAVE (OPTIONAL)**

1) Knowledge in Spring Cloud and related frameworks for microservices development.

2) Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

**KNOWLEDGE**

1) Object oriented Programming i.e., JAVA

**SKILLS/COMPETENCIES**

1) Strong analytical, creative, problem solving and critical thinking skill.

2) Detail oriented team player to consistently provide valuable suggestion and solutions in area of software development, use and maintenance.

4) Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
