**About the job**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality, usability, and performance.
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects and issues found during testing.
- Collaborate with software developers to resolve defects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
- Conduct regression testing to verify software changes and updates.
- Participate in requirements analysis and review to ensure testability and completeness of software requirements.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and testing reports.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements to software features, usability, and performance.
- Stay up to date on industry best practices, trends, and technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.

**Requirement and Qualification**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with manual testing techniques and tools, and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Appium).
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify root causes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow testing procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Quality Center) is a plus.
- ISTQB or similar certification in software testing is a plus.

Pay: From RM20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Johor Bahru: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- Bachelor's (preferred)

- Software quality assurance: 3 years (required)
- Testing: 3 years (required)
