Qc Supervisor

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Work closely with all Quality teams on quality objectives and goals to meet the demands for Quality.

2. Provide quality support to QA engineer:

- Customer 8D & CAPA - To support QA Engineer with all related quality info in order to complete the report.
- Work with production & Engineering personnel to resolve all inhouse & customer related issue base on 5M (Man, Machine, Mold, Material & Method).

3. Buy-off production process during initial production setup with buy off correct material and Working Instruction been used (Packaging, resin type in Hooper, operator tools & Lighting condition - Min 1000 to Max 1300 Lux).

4. Monitor product quality performance and follow up with all IPQC inspection report.
- All IPQC report need to complete and review in daily basis before key in system

5. To prepare and to approve first piece sample (For cosmetic and appearance).
- QA Supervisor & FA Supervisor to approved first piece sample. Once both cosmetic and dimension have no issue. Final approval needed from both parties.

6. Ensure all the sub-ordinates works performed and take necessary action to improve further:

- Do ensure all QC Inspector & QC Leader using correct methods of checking quality and followfirst piece sample.
- Do ensure production following correct method while performing their work such like process base on WI, rework process & etc
- Immediately call a meeting (Production supervisor & QC Leader) to brief on related quality issue raised by IPQC and Customer feedback.
- For those repeated issue claimed by customer, QA Supervisor need to assist IPQC leader to provide training with complete training record & report.
- Issue product quality training report and ensure all related trainee endorse the training report before pass to HR Department.

7. To perform daily counter check for all machine running parts and ensure parts are meet customer requirement. At least 3 times daily.

8. Chair both shifts meeting and briefing on production issues and quality feedback in order to ensure continual activity are in place.

9. To provide and maintain good housekeeping at working area according 5S requirement.

10. Review IQC, IPQC & OQC report and feedback if there is any abnormality.

11. Provide on job training for new inspectors from time to time in order to maintain the basics quality awareness if necessary, based on Jobs Description.

12. Assign 1 experienced inspector and guide the new inspector around 2 weeks.

13. Support, implement and maintain the quality, process and ensure quality system to comply with ISO 9001.

14. Ensure good housekeeping at working area according to 5S requirement.

**Qualification / Knowledge / Skills Requirements**:

- Minimum SPM level or Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification with relevant manufacturing working experience.
- At least 2-year working experience at quality related products.
- Able to lead and supervise a team of QA inspectors, leaders and supervisors to achieve company objectives.
- Knowledge in products inspection and testing.
- Process adequate supervisory skill.
- Able to communicate well with superior and subordinates.
- Systematic and positive problem-solving approach.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, cover other shifts, and overtime as needed.

**Authority**:

- Verify Accept/Reject part.
- Assigns training of new workers to qualified workers.

**Working Condition**:

- Work is performed in both office and manufacturing floor environments, including injection molding production areas.
- Regular exposure to moderate noise, high temperatures, plastic fumes, and moving mechanicalparts; appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- Standing, walking, and inspecting equipment or product lines for extended periods may be necessary.
- May require lifting up to 10kg and performing repetitive tasks during inspection or supervisionof production.
- Frequent interaction with production operators, technicians, engineers, and quality inspectors across multiple shifts.
- Overtime is often required based on production schedules.
- Must be able to respond quickly to quality issues on the floor, sometimes under time-sensitive or high-pressure conditions.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- Invidual Attendance & Panctuality
- Customer Complaint Rate: Number and severity of customer-reported quality issues per month or quarter.
- Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) Completion Time:Average time taken to close out CAPAs from quality incidents or audit findings.
- Scrap Rate:Monitor and minimize the amount of scrapped material due to quality issues.
- Audit Findings Closure Rate:Number of audit findings closed on time and in compliance with company or ISO standards.
- Inspection Compliance Rate:Adherence to scheduled in-process and final inspections.
- Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ):Total cost associated with scrap, rework, returns
