As an IT consultant, you will be an important member of the Consulting Production team, responsible for working with charities and social service agencies to help them transform the way they use technology. You will be a technical specialist that focuses on integrating information technology into such organisations to help them reach objectives and targets. This shall be done by introducing new technical solutions and software platforms to current IT infrastructures with the purpose to improve processes and fiscal prudence.

**Here are some ways you will be working with TQ in assisting charities and social service agencies**:

- Work with clients to define objectives and scopes for projects
- Clarify a client's system specifications, understand their work practices and the nature of their business
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations on using technology (such as suggesting appropriate hardware, software and systems) to achieve organisational goals and solve IT problems
- Manage IT initiatives and collaborate with in-house technical staff
- Support new technology implementation
- Help clients with change-management activities
- Provide assistance with technical issues
- Revise existing systems and suggest improvements
- Compile and present information
- Present solutions in written or oral reports
**Job Requirements**

**So... what does it take to get this role?**
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, software engineering, computer science or mathematics, business, or related fields, including three to five years working experience in any of the fields
- Familiarity with a number of IT field concepts, procedures, and practices
- Experience with various operating systems and databases
- An analytical mind with project management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to consult staff from different parts of a client's organisation (including top management, software engineers and IT support members in the Tech department, and staff across other departments)
- Ability to understand the practices and nature of the client
- Ability to develop a plan of action including time scale and resources required
- Ability to analyse potential issues and presenting written or oral solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with clients
- Proven experience as IT Consultant is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
