CNC Machinist

Position Title**: CNC MACHINIST**

**About the Job**

**Responsibilities**:

- To monitor daily production based on daily production target and production.
- To prepare monthly work schedule and oversee staff discipline.
- To assist R&D department to carry out new product testing.
- To carry out basic machineries maintenance.
- Responsible for the purchase of materials.
- Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers.
- To improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
- To handle the semi finishing, WIP product and to be clearly identified.
- To compliance to company ISO requirements, safety regulations when executing tasks
- To manage employees' attendance record and discipline record.
- To brief employees about safety and health issues.
- To control the materials consumption and manpower cost.
- To improve of CNC technology and technique.
- To carry out internal technical training.
- To brief all employees the concept of 5s at working place.
- To monitor the quality of outputs from each production line and to ensure each rim that transfers to next section is in good condition for achieving good productivity.
- To perform any other tasks as assigned by management.

**Qualifications & Experiences Needed**
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Machining Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience at CNC.
- To have CNC lathe and milling computerized programming knowledge, CAD, Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel & Microsoft PowerPoint.
- CNC Production Management knowledge, Manpower management knowledge,
- Committed, independent, self-motivated, good initiative and good organization skills.
- Able to work independently and under pressure.
- Good communication & presentation skill in Mandarin, English and Malay.
- Knowledge and experience in IATF16949:2015 will be added advantage.
