Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia MJ Department Stores Sdn Bhd Full time

The interns will be responsible for developing engaging content (from concepts, ideas, trend-driven, storytelling contents) for Facebook, Instagram, Red Note, TikTok and other digital platforms.

They will handle end-to-end content creation - video / photo shooting, editing, copywriting while staying aligned with brand voice and digital trends.

Key Competencies & Skills:
- 1. Content Creation
- Strong ability to generate fresh, creative and engaging content ideas aligned with brand identity.
- Understanding of storytelling techniques and ability to adapt content for short-form videos for different platforms.

2. Videography / Photography & Editing
- Proficiency in shooting good quality content by using smartphone.
- Basic to intermediate video / photo editing skills (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, CapCut or similar).
- Knowledge and follow the latest fashion, trends, transition, effects and pacing for social media.

3. Copywriting & Captioning
- Ability to write catchy, platform-optimized captions to drive engagements.
- Understanding of tone-of-voice for different audiences.

4. Social Media & trend awareness
- Passion for social media platforms trends and viral content.
- Ability to quickly adapt trends to brand messaging.
- Understanding of social media analytics (reach, engagement, etc.)

5. Organization & Collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple content pieces and meet deadlines.
- Team player who can brainstorm and execute ideas collaboratively.
- Open to feedback and quick iterations.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Videography or relevant.
- Familiarity with videography, photography, video editing and graphic design.
- Interested in Fashion and Lifestyle industry.
- Passion in handling social media contents.
- Independent, confident, proactive, able to work with minimum supervision, positive vibes, good communication and teamwork skill.
- Preferably understanding in Chinese to create Chinese content for Red Note.
