**JOB PURPOSE**
Under general description, the incumbent will be accountable for the following functions:
- a. Security
To initiate, coordinate and implement loss prevention and security measures to protect the company's assets, personnel and stocks and to initiate and conduct investigations relating to any breach of security which may or may not have resulted in injury to staff or loss or damages of company property.
b. Safety
Be responsible to implement safety programs that will ensure a safe working environment for all employees with the Zuellig Pharma premises, as well as compliance to regulatory requirements related to safety.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop, implement and monitor standard operating procedures and security practices to safeguard the company's employees, assets, stock and information against loss and damage.
- Oversee enforcement of security procedures within the warehouse operations as part of loss prevention measures.
- To manage the performance of outsourced security guards in accordance to security SOPs and requirements.
- To cascade all Security Developments to the employees.
- To review CCTV and Card Access System records as part of process in detecting irregularities that could lead to breach in security.
- To conduct internal Security Audits on regular basis.
- To carry out regular patrols of the internal areas of the buildings and perimeter area of the facility to detect any possible breach of security in terms of physical tampering to fencing, doors and other possible entry/exit points. Regular patrols are also required to detect irregular activities that could be connected to security breach.
- To attend to emergency calls from Central Monitoring Station as and when required in cases of alarms during off duty hours.
- Inspection of trucks to ensure compliance with the security requirements for anti-hijack measures.
- Conduct random surveillance of trucks on duty to monitor compliance to hijack prevention requirements during deliveries.
- To carry out audits on transporter hubs that handle goods for Zuellig to ensure compliance to both security and safety requirements.
- To conduct investigations promptly of any security lapses, and of any loss or damages of company property, or any incidences affecting employee safety, and to issue a full investigation report detailing causes of the security lapse and corrective action plan.
- Liaison with local enforcement authorities such as Police, Bomba, DOSH.
- Plan, implement and monitor safety programs as outlined by the Safety Committee.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and practices to promote safety awareness in the Company.
- Conduct safety audits and prepare relevant reports on safety incidents.
- Ensure the management of the building complies to relevant legislation eg BOMBA, OSHA, Local Councils.
- Permanent member of Safety Committee.
- Conduct annual exercise on first aid, evacuation and fire drill.
- Member of Emergency Response Team (ERT).
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum 3 years experience in managing facility security and safety operations in larger corporation.
- Possession of a relevant Safety Officer certificate is an added advantage.
- Able to communicate fluently in Bahasa Malaysia & English.
**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotational shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bukit Jelutong: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Education**:
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)
