To assist the Senior WSHE Manager in overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the Health, Safety, and Environment Management System (WSHE-MS), ensuring effective documentation, data collection, reporting, and contractor management to support organizational WSHE objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **WSHE Management System (WSHE-MS)**:
- Assist in implementing and maintaining the WSHE-MS in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in internal reviews and audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
2. **WSHE Documentation and Procedures**:
- Review, update, and maintain WSHE documents, including: Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Risk Assessments, Risk Register, Legal Register and Emergency Response Plans
- Assist in the preparation and update of WSHE training and development program materials.
3. **Data Collection and Reporting**:
- Collect WSHE performance data from project teams and contractors.
- Consolidate and analyze WSHE data to prepare reports for management, stakeholders, and customers.
- Assist in tracking and monitoring WSHE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
4. **Training and Development**:
- Assist in planning and coordinating WSHE training programs.
- Support in maintaining training records and tracking competency requirements.
5. **Contractor WSHE Management**:
- Support the contractor pre-qualification and onboarding process concerning WSHE requirements.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating contractor WSHE performance.
- Participate in site inspections and provide feedback for contractor improvement.
6. **Stakeholder Engagement**:
- Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and customers on WSHE matters as directed by the Senior WSHE Manager.
- Support communication initiatives to enhance WSHE awareness and compliance.
7. **Other Duties**:
- Participate in incident investigations and reporting as required.
- Carry out any other WSHE-related duties as assigned by the Senior WSHE Manager to support the organization’s WSHE objectives.
**Qualification**: Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields.
**Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in HSE roles within construction or similar industries.
**Skills**:
- Knowledge of HSE-MS and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Having basic level knowledge in Canva & Power BI as added value.
- Good data collection and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
