Rubber Compression Molding

**Job Title: Rubber Compression Moulding (RCM) Operator**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and operate compression molding machines according to production orders and safety procedures.
- Load preheated rubber compounds or blanks into the mold cavities.
- Close molds, set timers, and initiate the compression cycle.
- Monitor machine pressure, temperature, and curing time for each molding cycle.
- Open molds and carefully remove molded rubber products.
- Trim and inspect finished parts for defects such as voids, flash, or incomplete curing.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report machine issues to the maintenance team.
- Maintain cleanliness of molds and equipment to ensure product quality.
- Accurately record production quantities, scrap, and any non-conformances.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Support continuous improvement and 5S practices on the shop floor.

**Working Days**: 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
- **Off Days**: Saturday and Sunday
- **Working Hours**:

- **Morning Shift**: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- **Night Shift**: 5:30 PM to 3:30 AM
- Both normal and night shifts are required._

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Minimum of SPM or equivalent.
- **Skills**:

- Ability to operate production machines and equipment efficiently.
- Basic understanding of production processes and quality control.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Able to work in both morning and night shifts as required.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to stand for long hours and perform physical tasks as needed.
