Competent in handle and preparation of full set accounts.
- Prepare monthly and yearly management/accounting and financial reports.
- Responsible and oversee the company Accounts, IT, Cost control, Finance, Credit control, Treasury and Taxation functions.
- Manage and run the day-to-day operations which shall cover areas such as processing payments, reconciliation of receipts, managing accounts payable and receivable.
- To monitor and supervising a team of accounting staff.
- Coordinate with external auditor; liaise with tax agent, bankers and government offices on related financial matters.
- Handle, oversee and monitor the company’s banking facilities and tax matters.
- Formulate and revise operational procedures for overall improvement and effectiveness in the operations of the department and implement internal controls when necessary.
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such a general ledger accounts and document business transactions.
- To perform appropriate accounts reconciliation and maintain manual filing systems.
- To ensure that all elements of income and expenses are captured accurately and completely to the accounting system.
- To prepare Audit, Income Tax Schedules and Fixed Assets Register.
- Liaise and work together with other departments for the information sharing and process improvements.
- To prepare daily/weekly and monthly Cash flow forecast and projections.
- To prepare, review and analyze budget, revenue, expenses, payroll entries, invoices and other accounting documents.
- Lead and manage accounting staff towards meeting the objectives of accounts and finance department and managing staff development for team performances and succession planning.
- Responsible in ensuring that all financial controls and processes are in place and adhered to by all staff.
- Reporting directly to the CEO.
- To perform any other accounting duties as and when advised.
