Key Responsibilities
- Organizing incoming invoices and statements of accounts and ensure proper updating of the Inventory Master, Freight Master and other required accounting schedules.
- Timely and accurate posting of invoices in the system.
- Ensure proper authorization and approval of invoices and timely preparation of payments to vendors.
- Regular and consistent liaison and coordination with other departments on the thorough checking and verification of vendor invoices, particular to non-inventory items and contractual services.
- Consistent follow-up with vendor’s on their statement of accounts.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements, trace missing invoices and payments.
- Ensure accounting transactions and financial reporting conforms with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax laws and rulings, and in full compliance to IFRS.
- Ensure compliance with set company accounting policies and those that may be issued from time to time.
