Genset Maintenance Techinician

**Job requirement**:

- Minimum Diploma in Engineering,
- At least 1 years of working experience in the genset field.
- Mechanically and electrically trained (maintenance).
- Able to commit rotating shifts, if applicable.
- Generator, Engine, Alternator, Hands on, Wiring/SLD/Electrical Diagram, Basic trouble shooting, Controller.

**Job description & Responsibilities**:

- Conducts preventive maintenance inspection including servicing prior to genset start up.
- Rectify minor defect or malfunction / basic troubleshooting.
- Carry out maintenance and functional checks of Genset and associated components in accordance with the company’s standard procedures, manuals, and manufacturer’s specification to ensure its serviceability condition.
- Inspect electrical system
- Perform genset care tasks like checking fluid levels (coolant & engine oil) and changing oil fluids (coolant & engine oil)
- Read and understand electrical schematic diagram to troubleshoot the electrical/ technical issue
- Any ad-hoc duties as required
- Identify and rectify mechanical defects on genset
- Perform daily preventive maintenance to ensure reliability of genset
- Complete and maintain manuals and technical documents pertaining to the repair and maintenance work carried out on Genset.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the working area.
- Monitor, maintain and control the movements of all spares and materials, to ensure their proper usage and deployment, including the returning to stores of all the un-used spares and materials at the end of each shift.

Working days: Monday - Saturday -(5.5 days)

Working hours : 8:30 am - 5.30pm
