Teashop Cashier

**Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections or product inquiries.
- Answer questions about tea varieties, flavors, and preparation methods.
- Ensure a positive customer experience by providing attentive and efficient service.

**Transaction Handling**
- Process customer purchases accurately using the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle payments, including cash, cards, and digital wallets, and provide accurate change.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and receipts are issued to customers.

**Product Knowledge and Recommendations**
- Maintain knowledge of the teashop’s offerings, including tea blends, accessories, and gift items.
- Recommend products to customers based on their preferences and needs.

**Shop Maintenance**
- Keep the cashier counter clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist in maintaining a tidy and appealing shop environment.
- Monitor and restock tea products, packaging, and other shop inventory.

**Health & Safety**
- Follow hygiene and safety standards, especially in handling consumable products.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the manager immediately.

**Team Collaboration**
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support colleagues during peak hours or when additional help is needed.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a cashier or in the retail/teashop industry is a plus.
- Strong numerical and communication skills.
- Passion for tea and an eagerness to learn about tea varieties and preparation.
- Friendly and customer-oriented with a professional attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Comfortable standing for long periods and performing light physical tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
