Finance and Accountant Consultant Analysis

Job Summary: As a Finance & Accountant Consultant Analysis, you will provide expert financial guidance and strategic advice, optimize the financial performance, and achieve the company’s business goals. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and advising on financial planning, costing, budgeting, and reporting. Your expertise and analytical skills will be instrumental in delivering valuable insights and actionable recommendations enabling to make informed financial decisions and improve the overall financial health of the Group. Responsibilities: 1) Financial Analysis and Reporting: i. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including financial statements, cash flows, and profitability metrics, to assess the financial health of the company. ii. Review detailed financial reports, providing key insights and recommendations to improve financial performance. iii. Develop financial models to forecast financial outcomes and support business decision-making. iv. Responsible for the financial reporting to the Group. 2) Budgeting and Financial Planning: i. Develop comprehensive budgets and financial plans aligned with the business objectives. ii. Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and propose corrective actions as needed. iii. Provide strategic financial planning advice to optimize resource allocation and drive growth. 3) Compliance and Auditing: i. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, relevant regulations, and industry standards. ii. Assist in financial audits, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors. 4) Process Improvement: i. Identify areas for process improvement within clients' financial operations and recommend streamlined solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy. ii. Implement best practices and financial controls to mitigate risks and improve financial performance. iii. Taxation and Financial Strategy. iv. Advise on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with tax laws. v. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making, including capital investments, mergers, and acquisitions. 5) Inter-department Relationship Management: i. Build and maintain strong relationships, within the department and understanding the unique financial needs and tailoring solutions accordingly. ii. Providing ongoing support and guidance to achieve departmental KPI financial objectives. 6) Industry Research: i. Stay abreast of financial trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to offer relevant and up-to-date financial advice to clients. 7) Costing Analysis: i. Perform Detailed costing analysis to determine the cost associated with products, services, and projects. ii. Identify cost drivers and suggest strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) is advantageous. - Proven experience as a Finance Consultant, Accountant Consultant, or in a similar financial advisory role. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights. - In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and taxation. - Proficiency in financial modelling and use of financial software/tools. - Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to clients and stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. - Problem-solving mindset with a strategic and results-oriented approach. - Ethical and detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial analysis and reporting. - Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance standards. - Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in a similar capacity and related field.
