Commis Pastry

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum SPM; Diploma in Culinary/Pastry is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of pastry production (cakes, breads, desserts, and dough preparation).

- Fresh graduates with strong interest are encouraged to apply.
- Able to follow recipes, instructions, and SOP accurately.
- Good teamwork, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Able to work under pressure, fast-paced environment, and meet quality standards.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physically fit to stand for long hours.
- Assist Pastry Chef in daily pastry production including mixing, baking, decorating, and preparation of ingredients.
- Ensure pastries and desserts are prepared according to company recipe, portioning, and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the pastry section at all times.
- Handle and store ingredients properly to prevent spoilage and wastage.
- Support inventory checking and report low-stock items.
- Operate pastry and kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety procedures (HALAL, HACCP, or internal SOP).
- Assist in testing or developing new pastry items when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Pastry Chef or management.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 48 per week
