Resident Doctor

**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Resident Doctor/ Medical Officer at our new clinic in Melaka. The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing patient care, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, prescribing medications, and advising patients on their health and well-being.

**Responsibilities**
- To conduct consultations with patients on treatments and procedures and remain professional and approachable throughout the process.
- To clarify and educate patients on healthcare and wellness.
- To document all medications, diagnosis, treatments and consultation.
- To manage clinic operations.
- To keep up-to-date with current medical developments, medications and treatments.
- To assure compliance of SOP, regulations and medical protocols.
- To supervise the overall work flow of the clinic.
- Attend courses and provide CME or training to nurses and clinic assistants.
- To attend courses and necessary training from time to time.

**Qualifications**
- MBBS or equivalent from recognized institutions
- Registered with Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and possess valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Experienced and well-versed in the latest STD research and treatment methods
- Skilful in procedures such as circumcision, wart removal and IV dripping would be added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skill, communication skill, easily build rapport with patient, able to be patient, and maintain professionalism.
- Able to work by shift rotation and weekend shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
- Able to converse in Chinese /English/ Malay would be added advantage.

**Working Hours**
- 5-6 days/week (accumulate up to 180-200hrs/month)
