Maintenance Technician

**Key Responsibilities:1. General Maintenance & Repairs**
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and carpentry systems.
- Respond promptly to guest room maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Repair or replace defective parts in equipment and furnishings (e.g., light bulbs, door locks, toilets, air conditioning units).

**2. Preventive Maintenance**
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, laundry, and other hotel facilities.
- Complete assigned preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment breakdown and prolong lifespan.
- Identify and report potential maintenance issues before they become major problems.

**3. Guest Room Support**
- Ensure all guest rooms are in good condition and ready for occupancy.
- Support the housekeeping team by repairing items in rooms or public areas as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all maintenance work areas.

**4. Health, Safety & Compliance**
- Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Report any safety hazards or malfunctions immediately.
- Use tools and chemicals safely and store all materials securely after use.

**5. Coordination & Communication**
- Work closely with the Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to coordinate timely repairs with mínimal guest disruption.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and team members.
- Accurately complete maintenance logs, work orders, and reports.

**6. Equipment & Tool Management**
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure proper usage and secure storage of maintenance tools and materials.
- Report damaged tools or equipment to the supervisor for replacement or repair.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
