**1. Kiln Operations Management**
- Monitoring and controlling kiln operations to ensure optimal performance.
- Adjusting kiln settings, such as temperature, pressure, and fuel input, based on production requirements.
- Ensuring uniform heating and cooling processes for consistent product quality.
**2. Production Planning**
- Coordinating with production teams to align kiln schedules with production targets.
- Ensuring timely loading and unloading of materials or products in the kiln.
- Minimizing downtime by planning maintenance during non-operational hours.
**3. Quality Control**
- Inspecting products or materials before and after firing to ensure quality standards are met.
- Addressing any defects or irregularities caused by kiln operations.
- Keeping detailed records of kiln cycles, temperatures, and other operational data.
**4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting**
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance of the kiln and related equipment.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Coordinating with the maintenance team for major repairs or replacements.
**5. Safety and Compliance**
- Ensuring all kiln operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Training team members on proper kiln operation and safety procedures.
- Monitoring the work environment to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
**6. Team Supervision**
- Supervising kiln operators or other team members involved in kiln operations.
- Scheduling shifts and assigning tasks to ensure efficient operations.
- Providing guidance and support to the team to improve performance and productivity.
**7. Reporting and Documentation**
- Preparing and maintaining reports on kiln operations, production output, and maintenance activities.
- Analysing operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement.
- Communicating performance metrics and issues to management.
**Key Skills and Knowledge**
- Strong understanding of kiln operations, including heating, cooling, and material handling.
- Knowledge of the materials being processed and their behavior under high temperatures.
- Familiarity with kiln maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in safety protocols and compliance standards.
- Leadership and team management skills.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
