Global IS/IT Application Protege Trainee (Ref.No. R1005084)

You will enjoy having this responsibility:

- We have a good reputation for involving and letting students grow with their tasks, though it is the first time involving a student from Asia; thus the applicant will need to find out some administrative processes by his own
- We are working on IS/IT projects and IS/IT service, where he will get workpackages to take over small, but at times challenging tasks
- Particularly, we currently see potential involvement in the following areas
- Excellent Interpersonal with the ability to communicate (both verbally and written) and interact effectively at all levels
- Understanding of desktop, laptop and printer and TCP /IP networking
- Vendor interaction (laptops / desktops) for repair and replacement of parts
- Knowledge in basic networking and troubleshooting
- Knowledge in ITIL practices and processes
- Must be self - motivated, a team player and demonstrate effective learning skills
- Committed, pro -active and dynamic working attitude
- Must have passion in technology, computers and people
- Providing general support towards the effective and efficient maintenance of the project

You have:

- Bachelor level in a relevant discipline (e.g. IT, civil engineering, or similar Engineering area)
- Some experience exceeding 2-3 weeks abroad welcome, but not essential
- Skills in at least one programming language and understanding of entity-relationship-models
- Skills in database usage, e.g. using SQL
- Fluent in English (in spoken and written way)
- Strong MS Office skills, for example, the proficient knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, will be necessary throughout this role
- Strongly self-reliant (e.g. by using web research to solve problems by himself), pro-active in asking for information
- Willingness to actively contribute in a virtual team, meeting only via video-conferences (MS Teams)
- Ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly, including process and data flows
- Ability to contact people to discuss their requirements and produce a synthesis of what is needed
- The ability to manage shareholders and build strong relationships.
- The ability to collate information and produce comprehensive reports.
- An eye for detail and the ability to analyse problems and develop practical solutions.
- The skills to plan and organise workload and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
