Outlet Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the overall operations of the restaurant outlet, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by training and motivating staff to deliver a memorable dining experience.
- Manage the dining area, including seating arrangements, reservation management, and table turnover.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally, striving to resolve any issues and exceed guest expectations.
- Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the restaurant outlet, ensuring consistency and adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menus, considering customer preferences, seasonal availability, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor and control inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and cost.
- Manage and control expenses, including labor costs, food costs, and overheads, to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, provide updates, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely deliveries, quality products, and favourable terms.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competition, and customer preferences, making recommendations for improvements and innovation in the outlet.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food handling, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor and analyse outlet performance through sales reports, guest feedback, and other metrics, making data-driven decisions for improvement.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- At least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2 years) in a managerial role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and industry trends.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle guest interactions effectively.
- Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
