**Teaching and learning**
- Assist in the planning of the teaching programme in consultation with the principal.
- Hold clinical teaching and discussions on topics ranging from basic nursing skills to complex medical, ethical and practical issues.
- Communicate with clarity when explaining challenging concepts, provide instructions and deliver feedbacks to ensure effectiveness.
- Plan for students’ practical experiences, ward assignments in consultation with the Principal.
- Assisting in the planning of ward teaching programmes with the cooperation and collaboration of tutors and principal.
- Preparations for clinical teaching and demonstrations in advance.
- Guide students in methods of study and use of reference books and library, individual attention to students when necessary, including individual assignments.
- Providing students with positive and constructive feedbacks.
- Organising seminars, workshops, debates etc with the involvement of students.
- Participate in the development of curriculum for nursing courses and writing syllabi.
- Working with the principal and nursing tutors to deliver and participate in/contribute to, the development of modules/courses for the delivery of the nursing curriculum.
- Stay current with the developments in the field by completing required CME each year.
- Ability to motivate and encourage students to improve their academic performances using effective goal-setting strategies.
- Practise patience and compassion for students as they develop skills and improve their performances.
- Carry out all appropriate administrative responsibilities and participate fully in quality assurance processes within the HFSON.
- Where appropriate to act as a personal mentor to peers and colleagues.
**Record of students**
- Register of attendance at clinical placement.
- Record of crosses as stipulated in the log book.
- Record of student progress reports.
- Record of incident reports.
- Record of teaching and learning activities of the practical experience planned for students.
**Others**
- Adhere to professional bodies policies.
- Assume responsibility for own professional development and safe work practice.
- Ensure a safe environment for self, colleagues and visitors.
- Present and act in a professional manner and ensure colleagues and students do
likewise.
- Attention to details and an ability to produce a good quality of written and oral
reports
- Being punctual for clinical teaching sessions and meetings.
- Maintaining confidentiality of students’ information.
- Establish and maintain good human interactions with internal and external benefactors.
- To perform such other duties as may be assigned by the principal from time to
time.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
Schedule:
- Rotational shift

**Education**:
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (required)
**Experience**:
- clinical: 5 years (required)
**Language**:
- Bahasa Malaysia and English Language (required)
License/Certification:
- APC from LJM (required)
- Teaching Permit from IPTS (preferred)
