Counter Equipmenttechnician

**Job Summary**:
The Coffee Technician is responsible for the preventive maintenance, and repair of coffee machines and related equipment across all store locations. This role ensures all coffee units are functioning optimally to support store operations and enhance customer experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular inspections, servicing, and preventive maintenance of coffee machines to minimize downtime and prevent equipment failures.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide hands-on training to store staff on the correct usage, basic troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of coffee machines.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs performed, and parts used. Escalate major or recurring issues to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure coffee machines meet relevant health and safety standards.
- Respond to urgent service requests and resolve machine breakdowns to ensure mínimal disruption to operations.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Minimum SPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- Valid electrician’s license or relevant technical certification.
- Familiarity with popular commercial coffee machines (e.g., Franke, WMF) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a commercial or retail environment.
- Possess a valid B2 or D class driver’s license and have reliable transportation for on-site servicing.
