**Job Summary**:
The PDI Technician is responsible for carrying out thorough inspections and checks on new vehicles prior to delivery to customers. This role ensures that each vehicle meets the required quality, safety, and operational standards in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform comprehensive pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles to ensure they are in perfect working condition.
- Check and verify all mechanical and electrical systems, fluid levels, lights, wipers, battery, tires, brakes, and other key components.
- Conduct road tests to verify vehicle performance and identify any abnormal issues.
- Install accessories and carry out basic adjustments or repairs as per customer orders or manufacturer requirements.
- Ensure all PDI checklists and inspection reports are accurately completed and filed.
- Identify and report any manufacturing defects or transport damages for rectification.
- Coordinate with service advisors, parts department, and workshop team to ensure timely vehicle readiness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines at all times.
- Assist with vehicle software updates, calibration, and diagnostics when necessary.
- Ensure vehicles are delivered to the showroom or customer in a clean and presentable condition.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Certificate/Diploma in Automotive Technology or equivalent.
- Proven experience in vehicle inspection, servicing, or similar automotive roles.
- Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and read technical manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit with a valid driver’s license.
