**Position: Editor**

**Tenure: 8 Months**

**Location: Penang**

**Working Hours: US Shift**

**Salary: RM 4800 - RM 6200**
- Edit content as directed by team leads, and with direction from APAC, EMEA and US Managers
- Check copy for branding consistency and style (including charts, tables, and other graphics), and make necessary amendments on content management systems, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
- Ensure deadlines are met
- Edit, format and publish reports for style, consistency and clarity
- Must be able to work during US (East Coast) hours
- Support editors in other countries during local public holidays, wellbeing days, personal leave days or sick leave days
- You will be working in the Editorial, Design and Publishing Team during US East Coast hours. The team is located globally and collaborates closely via virtual means.

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree level or equivalent education (BA in English, Journalism, Communication or NCTJ equivalent)
- 3+ years of professional sub-editing experience
- Familiar with Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Knowledge of content management systems would be an advantage, particularly Quark Publishing Platform
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English

Contract length: 8 months

Pay: RM4,800.00 - RM6,200.00 per month
