**Assistant Manager - Dive Centre at Ombak Dive Resort**

Ombak Dive Resort is seeking a dedicated and resourceful individual to join us as the Assistant Manager of our Dive Centre on the beautiful Perhentian Island. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in the diving industry while enjoying island life.

Job Details:
Location: Ombak Dive Resort, Perhentian Island

**Salary**: Basic RM2,000 per month

Benefits: EPF & SOCSO contributions, accommodation, meals, and career growth opportunities

Age Requirement: 25 to 45 years old

Nationality: Must be a Malaysian citizen

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in managing the daily operations of the Dive Centre
- Handle diver registrations, dive schedules, and equipment logistics
- Maintain diver profiles and databases using basic computer software
- Participate and assist in organizing Scuba Diving Events
- Provide excellent customer service to divers and guests
- Support in training and mentoring dive team members
- Drive and maintain the dive boat
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during dive operations
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dive center and boat
- Adapt to island life, using creative thinking to solve challenges unique to the remote location

**Requirements**:

- Must hold a minimum Advanced Open Water Diver License
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
- Proficient in using computers to manage diver databases and profiles
- Passion for scuba diving with a willingness to learn and grow in the diving industry
- Ability to work well in a team, handle challenges, and think creatively in an island environment
- Physically fit and able to work in an outdoor setting
- Career growth opportunity to become a Dive Master with continued training and certification
- Willing to undertake Boat License training, as driving and maintaining the dive boat is part of the role
- Must be adaptable to island life and its unique problem-solving needs
