The Quantity Surveyor Intern will work closely with experienced professionals in the field to gain hands-on experience in quantity surveying practices. The intern will be involved in various aspects of the construction projects, assisting in cost estimation, project planning, and financial management. This internship is designed to provide exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of a quantity surveyor and to develop practical skills in the construction industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Cost Estimation**:

- Assist in preparing cost estimates for construction projects.
- Collaborate with senior quantity surveyors to analyze and quantify project requirements.

**Budgeting**:

- Support in developing project budgets and cost control measures.
- Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to the project team.

**Measurement and Quantification**:

- Take part in on-site measurements and quantify materials and labor required.
- Assist in preparing bills of quantities (BoQ) and schedules of rates.

**Tendering Process**:

- Participate in the tendering process, including analyzing bids and preparing reports.
- Assist in evaluating subcontractor quotes and proposals.

**Contract Administration**:

- Support in the administration of construction contracts.
- Learn to identify and manage variations and change orders.

**Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

**Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Attend project meetings and contribute insights related to cost and budget.

**Professional Development**:

- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Seek opportunities for continuous learning and skill development.

**Salary**: RM700.00 - RM800.00 per month
