Palm Oil Mill Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage all aspects of palm oil mill operations, including milling, extraction, clarification, and drying processes.
- Oversee daily production activities, ensuring optimal utilization of resources to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance among mill staff.
- Manage and maintain mill equipment, scheduling regular maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and control inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, ensuring efficient supply chain management.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure compliance with industry standards and product specifications.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all mill machinery, optimizing equipment efficiency and longevity.
- Prepare and analyze production reports, identifying areas for improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and efficiency enhancements.
- Lead and motivate mill staff, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Foster positive relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in palm oil milling.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in palm oil mill operations, with a proven track record of managing mill activities.
- In-depth knowledge of palm oil milling processes, machinery, and equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality control standards in the palm oil industry.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for production monitoring and reporting.
