RECORD TO REPORT TEAM LEAD (PERMANENT) / BUYOUT POSSIBLE

6 - 8 years' experience

Degree/Certificates ACCA /CPA

Manage 2 senior & 3 analyst.

Manage Malaysia, Philippines, China, Korea accounts and 3 other entities.

Closing - review 500 journals with in 5 days. Migration. Follow-up. Internal & External Audit. Adhoc request

**Operations**

1. Ensure month end close tasks are executed in a timely manner and in accordance with established work procedures and month end close timelines

2. Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of financial reports for corporate, local, and statutory reporting

3. Prepare and post journals relating to general ledger and royalty activity

4. Perform control checks and ensure all transactions and month end activities are approved and processed completely, accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with SLAs and KPIs

5. Perform variance analysis and investigate unusual fluctuations

6. Monitor accruals, amortization and prepayments and ensure timely reversals

7. Perform analysis and reconciliation of GL account balances. Investigate and follow up on unreconciled items and ensure timely resolution.

8. Perform G/L account open item clearing in a timely and accurate manner

9. Manager stakeholder expectation, attend to their queries and ensure timely resolution. Escalate unresolved issues in a timely manner.

10. Support new and junior team members through proper knowledge transfer, sharing of resources, knowledge, and experience.

**Transition Activities**

1. Ensure all transition activities are carried out in accordance with project timelines

2. Prepare and update work procedures and training materials.

3. Conduct training for junior and new team members.

4. Perform work shadowing and ensure tasks and work steps are documented correctly.

5. Assist to develop test scripts and perform system readiness tests and UAT.

6. Identify and close any system and knowledge gaps prior to golive.

**People Management**

1. Manage team resources to ensure smooth running of daily operations i.e. timely recruitment, planning and assigning tasks, coaching and development and performance management in consultation with RTR- Team Manager-General Accounting & InterCo.

2. Work closely with RTR Team Manager-General Accounting & InterCo in planning and executing the training and development of team members to meet the expected competency levels.

3. Resolve and manage team conflicts with sensitivity, tact, and fairness to build positive work environment in consultation with RTR- Team Manager-General Accounting & InterCo.

4. Coach and develop team members to meet SSC’s people agenda

**Continuous Improvement**

1. Proactively identify, drive, lead and implement standardization, best practices and continuous improvement opportunities to achieve efficiency, cost reduction and effectives year-over-year in consultation with RTR Team Manager-General Accounting & InterCo.

2. Work closely with RTR Team Manager-General Accounting & InterCo. other process managers, regional office and country finance to ensure alignment of goals.

**A. Qualifications**:
1. Degree in Accounting/ Finance or professional accounting qualifications (e.g. ACCA or CPA)

2. Member of MIA

3. Minimum 6 years of working experience in related field

4. Experienced managing full set of accounts

5. Experienced working in an ERP environment (e.g. Hyperion, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite)

6. Experienced working in a shared service or MNC or audit environment is an added advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to RM7,000.00 per month
