**Job Details**

**What you will do**
- We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong business acumen and well-rounded experience across FP&A and accounting.
- Lead in preparation, coordination and support Finance Controller in the finalization of annual plan, quarterly forecast, monthly outlook, monthly operation review, weekly secured / revenue / sg&a / ebit tracking and adhoc requirement.
- This position’s responsibilities includes analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis as may be required by leadership

**How you will do it**
- Lead in preparation, coordination and support Finance Controller in the finalization of annual plan, quarterly forecast, monthly outlook, monthly operation review, weekly secured / revenue / sg&a / ebit tracking and adhoc requirement.
- Supports the Financial Controller in working with business and functional leaders to drive business and financial objectives
- Be responsible for and work with Shared Service Centre to ensure smooth month end closing and accurate / timely financial reporting within prescribed deadlines.
- Overall coordinator for corporate secretarial and insurance / risk-management matters.
- Key supporting role in the development & implementation of processes & models for improving accuracy, timeliness & completeness of financial results & reporting.
- Timely response to Regional, APAC and Corporate requests and queries
- Establishment & supervise business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Secured, Revenue, GM, SINC, ATWC, FCF
- Ensure cost control is practised and monitored, supervise monthly spending within budgeted levels.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations, and timely follow-up / resolution of balancing items.
- Communicate and work closely with other departments in ensuring the overall company objectives / performance is achieved at all times.
- Supports annual external audit and tax filing (Led by Corporate team) where required
- Supports the Financial Controller on driving overall cash collection and credit control activities
- Ensures compliance with Corporate Policies, US-GAAP, legal, statutory, tax and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
- Performs any other duties from time to time, whether ad hoc or otherwise, as assigned by Financial Controller
- Ensures high level of ethics & internal controls' environment at all times

**What we look for**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from a recognized university. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, all considered pluses.
- 6 years and above working experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with proven financial analysis, cost management / accounting and financial control experience
- Self-starter, independent, results-oriented and possesses a can-do attitude
- Strong business acumen and proven track record in working with business leaders to drive business performance in line with country and regional growth objectives
- Mature, articulate and possess excellent people leadership skills. Must be a proactive team player and able to work with business / functional leaders.
- Proficiency in Essbase, HFM, OneStream, and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with SAP/BaaN/iScala systems is an advantage.
- Solid understanding in the engineering/construction industry
- Understanding of and proficiency in US GAAP and international accounting standards, and good comprehension of Sarbanes-Oxley
- Proficiency in English is required
