A Wireman PW1 is a skilled electrical worker primarily responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and systems, often in buildings and infrastructure. They work with electrical components, ensuring safe and compliant installations according to regulations and standards. A Wireman PW1 may also be involved in troubleshooting electrical problems, testing systems, and assisting with various electrical tasks. Key Responsibilities:

- **Installation and Wiring**:Installing electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, ensuring proper connections and adherence to safety standards.
- **Maintenance and Repair**:Diagnosing electrical issues, troubleshooting malfunctions, and performing necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components.
- **Testing and Inspection**:Utilizing testing devices to verify the functionality of electrical systems and ensure they meet safety and performance requirements.
- **Following Drawings and Schematics**:Interpreting electrical drawings and schematics to guide the installation and wiring process.
- **Compliance with Regulations**:Ensuring all electrical work adheres to relevant regulations and standards.
- **Assistance and Support**:Providing support to technical teams on-site, assisting with practical tasks and contributing to project completion.
- **Site Management and Coordination**:In some roles, Wiremen PW1 may be involved in site coordination, management, and monitoring, especially in solar-related projects.

Specific tasks might include:

- Soldering electrical connections
- Wiring control boxes and panels
- Installing relays and sensing devices
- Troubleshooting electrical control systems using testing equipment like multimeters
- Working with single-phase and three-phase wiring systems
- Installing and maintaining solar panel systems
- Reading and understanding electrical diagrams and drawing

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
