QA Speclalist

**Position : QA Specialist**

**Salary : RM 2,500 - RM 5,000**

**Location : Damansara Uptown**

**Working Days / Time : 8.30am - 5.30pm**

**Job summary**

Developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in QA processes

**Responsibility**
- Review, analyze, develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications ensuring full test coverage
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and system integration testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Execute predefined test cases to detect software defects and provide detailed documentation for effective resolution.
- Advocate for the resolution of critical defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely bug fixes.
- Automate repetitive test cases using automation tools or AI-assisted frameworks (preferred but not mandatory).
- Assist in creating and maintaining test data to support various testing scenarios and ensure real-world simulation.
- Help set up and configure test environments, ensuring they closely resemble production conditions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and replicate/document software defects.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and contribute insights to enhance software quality.
- Stay updated on emerging QA tools, trends, and best practices to drive continuous process improvements.
- Foster a culture of learning, open communication, and high-quality standards within the QA team.
- Other ad hoc tasks that could be assigned from time to time.

**Requirement**
- At least 2 years of working experiences as a Software Tester or similar role is preferred but fresh graduates with a passion for Quality Assurance are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman or JMeter and experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter, LoadRunner) is preferred.
- Experience with database testing, knowledge of security testing practices, and familiarity with programming languages for automation or AI-assisted automation testing is advantageous.
- Meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in documenting test cases and scripts with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to take initiative and proactive at work, multitask and be committed in meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and a good team player when needed.
- Good in communication skills and able to maintain good relationship with all levels of people.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM5,000.00 per month
